As the UK & Irelands exclusive distributor of EVVA products we are incredibly proud to announce the 100 year anniversary of this Iconic & market leading Cylinder Manufacturer! EVVA’s incorporation dates back to 1919 in Vienna, Austria. This iconic and beautiful City is still home to the brand, the companies head office & manufacturing facilities today. EVVA are proud of their rich heritage and rightfully so, from 1919 until now they have continuously innovated and pushed the market. Originally filing for and securing the first ever patent on a security product in 1937 this sparked the ambitious growth plans for the company, leading them to develop and fine tune the general master key system.

As the ambitious vision continued EVVA created and filled new niches within the Security Industry, designing and launching a new innovative cylinder technology with the launch of the MCS Cylinder in 1971, MCS which is short for ‘Magnetic Code System’ is the true definition of key restriction with only one machine in the world at EVVA’s head office in Vienna able to duplicate the keys. In recent years this innovative and forward thinking has continued to push the industry, with EVVA’s step in to ‘Electronic Locking’ & access control through the launch of the AirKey Cylinder, using NFC and Bluetooth technology AirKey turns your mobile phone in to the Key. Opening up new rules for customers, allowing them to manage who enters their home or office and when, giving a full audit trail without the need for wires or power to the door, a simple Cylinder change can turn the door in to a smart one.

In addition to EVVA’s 100 Year Anniversary, both EVVA and Aldridge are proud to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of our trading relationship, Aldridge & EVVA signed an exclusive agreement in 1994 for the distribution of EVVA Branded product in the UK & Ireland and our partnership has continued to build from strength to strength, 25 years on Aldridge are proud to be EVVA’s largest distributor & customer in the world. To celebrate their incredible 100 year History, EVVA invited Aldridge to attend a special event at the Schönbrunn Orangerie in their hometown of Vienna. This fantastic event was attended by 500 EVVA staff and some of the top customers from around the world, hosted by the Ehrlich-Adam family, the third generation EVVA family, gave a true insight in to the passion, vision and dedication that all staff hold for this incredible brand. “We look back on where we’ve come from with pride, but we’re not resting on our laurels” Stefan Ehrlich-Adám, CEO of the EVVA Group.

Following 25 years of our successful trading Partnership with Decayeux, Aldridge are delighted to have been appointed the Exclusive Distributor for the new D Series range of Postboxes in the UK and Ireland. The agreement was finalised during a recent visit to France where Stephane Decayeux, MD of the Decayeux Group and Ainsley Hawkins, MD of Aldridge Security Ltd agreed to further strengthen the trading partnership between the two companies.

The D Series range of Postboxes will slowly replace the current Brabantia ranges. The Postbox design, quality and pricing will remain exactly the same, the only difference being a change of branding to Decayeux and the “D” prefix replacing the current “B” prefix on the current range.In addition to the Exclusive Agreement for the D Series range, Aldridge will enhance their existing relationship with Decayeux further by increasing their range and stock holding of the traditional Decayeux range of Postboxes.
